1.in 2010 I made the mistake of leasing through Konica Minolta QDS leasing services. If you can avoid doing this please do at all costs. First of all there is a $200.00 fee you pay for them to do the paperwork on their lease. It's like you are paying them wages for just doing their job, RIPOFF!
2. Second they will charge you insurance on their unit while it is in your place of business and it's not cheap folks.
3. They will deliver the printer to you in a box and let it sit in your place of business. They'll say don't bother with it until we have a representative come and show you how to use it. Did you know that you are being charged for the time that it sits there in the box? Yup, before you can even use the printer you are being charged for it... RIPOFF!
4. Do you think you can do a buy off from the leasing company? If that's what you got from the contract then you didn't read it carefully. You can buy the printer out right but here's what it's going to cost you. The price of all the payments you have left plus the cost of the printer itself at fair market value... Did you get that? Lets say you owe four thousand dollars on a six thousand dollar loan. If you pay off the four thousand dollars you still have to pay off the fair market price for the printer. So if they say the printer is worth $2500.00 dollars you will end up paying that plus the four thousand. They don't want you to quit the lease folks... Ripoff!
