I signed a contract with Family Group Financial USA to modify my mortgage. I paid an up-front fee of $2995 which they required to take on my case. I completed all necessary paperwork, and provided all requested documents.
After completing the steps above, I attempted numerous times to contact them and check on their progross. Whenever calling their office number, the phone just rang multiple times and nobody ever answered nor did a voice mail message initiate. When emailing them, they only answered about 1 of every 10 emails, and then they told me my bank was requesting new sets of documents, so I resubmitted.
After about 8 months of not being able to contact anyone at Family Group Financial, I contacted my bank to find out what was going on. My bank told me they had never been contacted by anyone at Family Group Financial, nor had they requested the documents I had been told to produce. At that point, I could not get Family Group Financial to answer my calls, emails, nor registered letters I sent them.
