One day I was called by one of those stupid telemarketers and they told me that I won a prize and all I had to do was subscribe to some magazines. Sound like a good deal? Yeah, if you're a dumbass. I was that day for sure. I gave them my debit card number. They told me I wouldn't be billed untill I notified them that I got my magazines. Well, when I checked my telephone banking, there was a charge of $65 pending. I went to the bank the next day and explained that although I was stupid about falling in their trap, I never permitted them to screw me. They said, "it's your fault, why did you give them your card #?
Well, although they were right, they still provided no confidence to me that they would help me. After two calls to the online banking center by them, the charge was finally dropped. Now tell me, money aside, is that the kind of bank a person should be with? I mean, I've kept my money w / them for over a year and this is how they treated me. It's cool though, I lied to them when I told them why I was leaving. So pay back is a b*tch.
