Nag, Nag, Nag, thats what we say now. NAG is our local Neighborhood Assistance Group Hi, Im your neighbor and how can I help you? One of our neighbors started our NAG in early summer 2009. Our NAG is a loosely associated group of neighbors in a three-block area. Weve exchanged phone numbers, e-mails, addresses. Each of us hosts each week catered get-togethers averaging two hours each at a different house. Weve had some very enjoyable moments getting to know each other. NAGs been a meaningful, no stress, high impact, fun, beneficial happening in our neighborhood. So far, and it made a huge positive difference in our neighborhood, we help each other in the following ways: Watch each others house, take care of each others pets, shovel each others drives and sidewalks, check in just to say hi I care, trips to the doctor, emergency room, hospital and urgent care, getting each other roommates and tenants, trade vegetables from our gardens, brought over meals, helped each other with each of our handyman Honey Do lists, driven each other around when one is unable to drive, contacted media or Congressionals to assist one of us, written letters, blogged, call Reno Direct to voice our opinion, brought the trashcans back in after trash-pick, dug us out when we got stuck in the snow, buried pets, nag each other to exercise more, share garden tips, know who the registered sex offenders are in our neighborhood, and say smile and hi, how are you doing, how can I help, and really mean it.

They tried to leave another message today. But this tax preparers answer machine said it was full. Who is this tax preparer that puts in writing their customer service pledge, but its all a lie?
