I have received a total of 3 letters from this company. The first one I received I called my Mortgage company and asked them if I was missing something they said no you have never been late on a payment. The second time I called the number and they said that my lender gave them the information, which pissed me off because no lender should be giving out personal information so I called my lender again and they confirmed that they 1 do not give out personal information and 2 if I were in jeopardy of foreclosure that they would themselves modify my loan because they really don't want any foreclosed property. So I said that RRF LLC said that you gave them my info and they connected me straight to their legal department. I scanned the letter and sent it to them they are investigating. Which got me thinking... 1st how did they know I even have a mortgage? They would have had to run a credit report on me and I never signed anything giving them permission and if they ran a "soft" credit report that's illegal because I am not a customer (insurance companies do this to get you a better rate). I know that they couldn't have gotten it from public records because I'm single and I use my initials first and middle and last name. 2nd they know I have the mortgage alone no Mr. & Mrs. Just my name on the letter. That's telling me that they did their homework and that they are basically Cyber Stalking me. I want to bring this company down. They are preying on people's fears to make their wallets fat and when people are desperate they will cling on to any help (legit or not) and cling on to any hope. These people need to pay for their misleading ways. I hope everyone else reports these ba*rds too.
