I am also a former employee of this company and was in a position to witness a lot of wrong doing, both in the owner's personal behavior and to the treatment of the customers. I have heard through the grapevine that this company has (thankfully) closed shop. Between the blatant disregard for the consumer, the verbal and sexual harrasment (including same-sex), alcohol and drug abuse and the personal indiscretions of the "top" management, I am surprised the company lasted as long as it did. I thought the IDFPR would shut them down. You can verify that their Mortgage Banking License issued by the State of Illinois has been surrendered at ww. Obre. State. Il.Us/AGENCY/licenseinfo.htm. The license was also transfered over to the owner's friend prior to the surrendering of the license - wonder why? You can verify this at the NMLS website: www.nmlsconsumeraccess.org. Another shady move by the Savino brothers? It was widely rumored that the brother acting as the President wasn't actually in charge at all, but acting on behalf of his brother who had his license revoked by the state. It was also rumored that he "bought" the shares from the previous (cover) owner, but defaulted on the payments. I hope to never again have to work with some of the people associated with this company. Many of them have moved on the more reputable organizations and I shudder to think of the lack of professionalism most employees of this company have.
