Experian, rip-off, consumers beware! Deceptive, dishonest, unauthorized charges on check card then denying they did it

EXPERIAN, one of the three credit bureau reporting agencies in the United States has tried to defraud me by taking money from my account for items I have not purchased.

I purchased two credit reports, one on my husband and one for myself. I paid for both with my check card drawn on my bank checking account. This transaction was ordered, paid for and completed in the month of August.

Today, November 25 I open up my checking account and find that there are two charges to my account using MY VISA CHECK CARD, originally used in paying for the others in August, charging me another $9.00 and $6.00 dollars for something I DID NOT order. The funds (both) were requested November 21 and posted to my account on November 25 which is todays date. They just came up and charged me.

My feeling is they didn't think I would catch it. I called and the person I spoke with told me he did not see any charges to my account other than the August. Dahhhh, No Joke, I would say not when you are trying to Rip-Off Consumers. I mean, who would want a record right?!

No understanding, no compassion and definitely no apology for this happening. Matter a fact it was as though he was saying, "oh yeah, prove it" sort of attitude instead of saying i am sorry this has occurred, but we don't show any charges, but this is what you have to do. No, it was very challenging to say the least!

Now this is the real kicker. Not that it's bad enough they've dipped into my checking account WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION charging me for something that I didn't even order, now I'm being told that I have to send in a letter requesting for my money now, to be refunded back to me through the Experian Refund Dept. Post Office Box 881, Allen, Texas 75013. DOES THIS SEEM TO BE SAYING SOMETHING HERE?!

I'll tell you what it is saying to me is this must be a really Huge and Ongoing Problem if they have a total department dedicated to REFUNDS! Think about it!

This means, because they say they don't have faxes, hard to believe that, but that was what I was told and I cannot handle this over the fax, that I have to send a letter with all my personal information (information they are more than glad to take over the phone where it is most unsecure anyone could be calling that ripped off my social security infomration, name address and so forth) in requesting my refund, MY OWN MONEY NOW MIND YOU, to be refunded back to me all because of THEIR ERROR!

I have to put myself out, my time constructing and typing the letter, not to leave out the fact that until they refund the money back to me that my account is missing, money that I cannot use and that could have possibly, if not have caught it, caused me to have a returned check!

That is another thing, should that have happened they do not credit you back that money nor do they credit you back any postage you pay for in sending in a letter and copy of bank statement showing the charges. Because I'll tell you right now, I am not about to send it overnight, next day, but I fully intend on sending it registered which is more postage. They are not about to tell me they haven't received my information only to turn to me and ask for proof that I in essence actually sent it in the first place, I've been there, done that!

Experian tells you they want to be the BEST and all the stuff that comes thereafter and wants you to know they are the 2nd largest, next to Equifax which is the largest credit agency in the USA. I don't believe they can achieve this by being Rip-Offs, what about you?

Now, here I am trying to keep my credit report up to date and furnished with all the correct and pertinent information only to find that I have to watch over the Experian Credit Agency that is suppose to be honest, trustworthy and above all correct in its reporting of consumers credit. Now I am having to keep an eye on them charging for reports I haven't even requested nor received. Tell Me. What's WRONG with this Picture?!

Consumers beware. This is not the first time this has happened, but it has occurred with others as well and it is time people started doing something about it.

Please, please, if this has happened to you, please write a rebuttal, to my report, please, so this can be looked into by usacomplaints. Coms. The more reports the better!!! I am a victim turned advocate myself and would love to hear from you so i can present these issues as a whole and have these credit companies looked into. If you write a rebuttal i will see it as i check on my filed reports almost daily. It can be any of these credit angencies.

Just say who they are if not experian. But please take the time to report it. It will cost you more in the long run believe me if you don't keep an eye on your account and see these charges being falsly charged against your credit cards and/or checking accounts!

I hope you will file your experience soon and with as much detail as possible.

I honestly believe that because our Country is in such tUrmoil today over everyone else we're having to take care of that Big Business'are literally taking over and taking advantage of many consumers, why not, who's looking, right? Usacomplaints.com AND ALERT ARE LOOKING PEOPLE AND THEY CARE OR WHY BE HERE! I mean what was our government doing while Enron and all those others and more to come I am sure were Ripping Off Consumers and Employee's.

I'll tell you, we were fighting over in other countries. People, you have to make a stand and stand up for your rights. Consumer complaints and Alerts has given you the Avenue! My gosh, it is even FREE. You cannot ask for a better way of doing your part in reporting these rip-offs and allowing the Consumer Advocates to see the repetitious way in which you are being ripped off and who is doing it to you and having something legally done about it and bring about a huge enough settlement that they will STOP, Thinking Twice about ever doing it again.

At the least they will have to spend huges amounts of funds to correct the problem and in updating their system's to make sure this will not happen, they have to show proof they have done this and should legal ramifications come about, not including settlement with those involved. DO YOUR PART!!!

Thank You and Good Reporting!
