When we first bought our home, they changed the price on us. We had to sign two different contracts. After the home was set up, we discovered that the air conditioner didn't work and the drain for the washer was not hooked up. I had to fight with Oakwood to get my money back for the air conditioner but they refused to come out and hook up the drain. Even though it was part of the set up, they refused to come out and do it.
During the move of the home, several of the windows were broken. They replaced them but the work was shoddy. We ended up doing it ourselves a few months later. The ones they installed cracked and fell out.
We currently have insurance through Oakwood and our home was recently vandalized. The adjuster came out and priced repairs at just over $200.00. We priced the parts ourselves and found that it would cost us about $500.00. I'm still fighting this one.
