I had an account with Juniper Bank over five years ago; the credit card I had with them had a limit of ~$250 if memory serves. I had every intention of paying it off, then lost my job. Priorities like food, rent and utilities came first.
I'm not certain when LHR purchased the account from Juniper, but it seems like it's been at least a couple of years that I've been called at least 3 times per day and getting regular mailings. That original $250 ballooned to over $2500.00, which I thought was a ridiculous amount.
