If you search this website for United Benefit or United Benefits you'll see that this company has promised a credit card when you pay a one time fee of $299. They, in fact, do not provide a credit card, but a useless credit repair kit full of "specials" and "deals" that are worth garbage.
They take the money directly out of your checking account over the phone so it's very hard to get your money back. I got mine back by disputing the charge with my bank and they were very generous to give me my money back.
However, you can report this company to the New York Consumer Protection board and explain to them exactly what has happened, giving them the contact information I have posted above. Although I have got my money back, I will not be satisfied until this company gets shut down and stops hurting people that are already financially troubled.
