This deceptive, non performing Venture Capital Group, will issue LOI's (letters of intent) as a feel good effort to make you think you're actually going to get funded!!! Jerome Gentolia will write news articles about being "in talks" with different groups, but has yet to actually FUND a group! These people will keep you hanging on week after week, month after month and year after year if you're gullible enough to go along for the ride!!! Every email consists of words like: we expect two cash transfers in our bank in Chicago tomorrow or Wednesday; a transfer of cash from somewhere should very likely take place today, Tuesday, if not tomorrow, there are six other SLC's getting ready to be sent and we expect at least one or two of them in our bank this week. Then there are the excuses as to why these transfers went wrong.
Another tactic they use to keep you hanging in there is by telling you they don't publish information on the companies they fund, it's confidential! They don't need references, giving you a check is proof enough.
These people do not ask for any fees, so it's puzzling as to why they would continue this practice. We have waited months and we've found out about other companies who have been waiting years.
I see that Jerome Gentolia is now doing venture capital seminars. I guess if he can't help you get funding he'll charge you to tell you how! Don't you love how these guys will prey on small businesses as if they're experts in funding!!! Stay away from these people!!! They offer no references or proof of funding anyone!!
