If you pay your GE Money Bank via their online website: Geonlineservice.com, BE CAREFUL to "reinsert" your correct routing number and account number each and every time you make a payment. Don't be fooled when you see *1234 in the box within which you had previously typed your rounting and account numbers, because they fooled me into believing that they had the correct routing number and account number, but were omitting showing them on line for my privacy. No way. They expect you to retype both numbers even though there are no instructions that advises you to do just that. Unfortunately, the * they had placed prior to the last numbers meant nothing at all and the last payment I was making bounced. Then I had to deal with "polite" Indians handling these matters for GE Money Bank, who did not fully understand problems and in my case, actually made matters worse. Ultimately "American" Customer Service corrected situation, but only "after" I almost collapsed from the stress. I have owned GE stock for many years. I will sell as soon as possible.
