I shipped my car across the country when moving to California. I was offered a $300 gas rebate through Redeemincentives.com when the move was complete. I was to save my gas receipts each month, and receive $25 per month as a rebate, for 12 months.
To begin the program, I had to pay a $35 deposit. I did so, saved my receipts for the first month, and received my first $25 rebate.
On sending my second set of receipts — 28 days later, in the month of February — Redeemincentives.com indicated that I had not waited the "requisite" 30 days to send the next batch of receipts, and thus my entire reward was invalidated (for the remaining $275 rebate). Additionally, they refused to refund the $35 deposit.
I tried to call twice before talking to a customer service representative, who told me that I was ineligible for refund of either the deposit or the future rebates. I then filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
RedeemIncentives.com responded by saying that they would refund my deposit — which they never did. The Better Business Bureau then reopened the inquiry, and concluded that the complaint was unresolved — as they did not repay the deposit, nor did they respond to the BBB.
Lesson: stay away from these incentives. RedeemIncentives.com is a total scam, and to top it off, totally unresponsive to customers.
