Ripoff misrepresentation and rude customer service

This company called me and told me I was to receive a credit card with a $5,000 limit, for a fee of $299. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with the representative, Morgan. I asked specific questions regarding this credit card. I was assured that this was a legitimate credit card, and that if I was not satisfied I had 30 days within which to request a refund.

When I received my package, there was no such credit card, but in fact, an application for a card where my limit was equal to my deposit. I received a debt management kit, and a catalog with a card which only allowed purchases from that catalog and required a payment of over half of the purchase.

I called to request a refund immediately. I was told, and the person who answered, Mark, told me that it was a non-refundable fee. I was told that I would receive a call that afternoon at 2:30 pm to listen to my recording in which I agreed to a non-refundable fee. I never received that call. I called later that afternoon, asking where my call was, and was told that they were backed up. I requested a supervisor and was told that a supervisor would have to call me back and would do so within 24 hrs. To date, I have not received a call. I have called several times requesting this call.

I did tell them that I felt this was a gross misrepresentation of facts, and that I wanted my refund.
