Watch out for this awful property management company. Crown Management recently was fired from my apartment complex in Seattle, WA for embezzling money from the owner. Major repairs needed to be made in almost all units (17 total). My tile was falling off due to mold in my bathroom and nothing was done. They moved another tenant out of his unit to a vacant unit because of tile falling off due to mold in his old unit. The reason why repairs were not made is because they had pocketed the money in the Apartments Maintenance Fund.
No customer service skills at all, out right rude to tenants. Made false accusations of tenants violating their rules and policies. They could not even keep up the basic maintenance in the building, vacuuming the halls, keeping the laundry room tidy.
One night, their manager knocked on my door and rang my door bell over and over again, I was just getting out of the shower so I was in no rush to answer the door, but he kept ringing the door bell and knocking at the door. As I rushed to get clothes on to answer the door the manager stuck the key in my door and was going to open my door! I was furious! I yelled "What do you want!" through the door. He said that he hadn't seen me or my boyfriend for a while and thought we had abandoned the unit so he was just checking things out. Are you kidding?!! Where's that 48 hour notice that I am suppose to receive before you enter my home, or maybe even a phone call first before you try to open my front door?
I am home all day with my dog and am in and out of the apartment complex all the time. I told my boyfriend about the situation when he got home and he was of course furious and chewed the guys ass out. The manager then made up another lie and said he was going to enter our apartment because he thought he smelled blood and urine... Right. This company is family owned and is very shady.
