I contracted with a Creditors Service Bereau but some how Cox, Wells and Associates got the account (CWA) was NOT contracted to collect on my behalf or make any settlement offers! I had an overdue account in the amount of $8775.00. CWA agent reduced the ammount to $5350.00 then offered the account a 50% settlement (2675.00) without consulting me. CWA then collected money from the account and did not notify me. I found out from the account that money had ben paid to CWA and they sent me a copy of the settlement offer from CWA. When you call their office you get alot of quick talking double talk. I have NOT received a dime from CWA as of today. CWA does not keep their client updated. CWA does not provide a quality service to their client. CWA is not truthful in their business dealings. It seems as if they steel from people already victomized by their Customers! Please "Do Not do business with Cox, Wells and Associates"
