Long History Short, we use this joke of company called money tree merchant services to process our credit card transactions, we noticed that everytime the charges were higher but decided to stick to it not to have to make all the bank account and processing machine changes. Well we got hired by a company to do a 22 Thousand job, we requested a $10,000 to start, the customer decide to pay that amount using his credit card, transaction was aprooved. Everything good so far. The day after the transaction we were contacted by Money tree merchant services saying that since the transaction was for that amount they needed a copy of the invoice and the credit card slip with the customer signature, it was faxed to them five minutes after that call was received. Well we called Courtney who was the person that contacted us to make sure the documents were received she said that there was going to be one day delay for the funds to be released, not a problem totally understandable for the amount, 2 days later the funds not available so we contacted them, we were told that Courtney was on vacation for 2 days vacation... Mmm we have nothing to do with that, anyways we were told that our file was transfered to Bryan a clown that after leaving several messages at his voicemail returned our call after 72 business saying that he was working in reviewing the transaction, we asked for an explanation of what was the process and he said that he didnt have much to coment.
We decided to try to talk to a supervisor but we never got transafered because they said Bryan was working in our case, by then there was over a week and no funds yet, and no a word back from Brayan we started calling since he wasnt answering we spoke to several people in the company, and eventualy he called saying that there was no need to be talking to everybody in customer service about it... But that was the only way that we have him call us back. Well this time he decided to go step by step about the transaction we told him that as was stated on the invoice was a partial payment for a job, Here is the funny part his answer was that he wasnt going to be able to release the fund till the whole job was completed since the company was liable for those charges... Never hired anything like this, the credit card processing company liable for the work that you do? Their job is to get the money from our client and put the funds in our account, what do they have to do with my business can anybody explain? Anyhow we had to work with our customer a diffrent way of payment, gave him a credit card refund which a this point we dont know how long is going to take. And change our merchant services provider. Never use money tree merchant services...
