I initiated an internet search to find a loan for people with bad credit. I didn't find anything I thought was reliable, so I gave up the idea. Then a few days later I got a call from Goldwyn Financial, offering me a loan for the amount I inquired about on one of the sites. I don't remember with which bad credit loan site I inquired, and Goldwyn Financial couldn't or wouldn't tell me either. They explained the process. I was to send an amount of money by Western Union to a private lender for insurance to protect them in the event that something happened to me or I went into default on the loan. When I sent what they asked for and didn't get the loan, they said the lender ran my credit report and after seeing it wanted more money. (An amount that was greater than the amount I had already sent.) When I complied and sent the additional money, still did not receive the loan, and had a very difficult time getting them to answer the phone for the next several days, they said the loan consultant I had been working with, Lily-ann Lee, had been fired because she had made arrangements for several clients with a lender that was going to be audited. They said my money was tied up for at least 15 - 30 days, but they could find me another lender if I wanted. Shortly thereafter, they found another lender that required money upfront for insurance just as the first lender had required. I was very suspicious and didn't want to pursue the loan, but my husband is very trusting and wanted to try one more time. When we got the money together and sent it to a new lender in Canada, waited for the specified amount of time for it to be automatically deposited to our bank account, but it still didn't show up. Since then we have neither received the loan nor heard from Goldwyn Financial. We sent a total of $3,053.81 and they refuse to answer our calls or messages.
