Misrepresented Hotel Class

BE CAREFUL - Hotwire carefully misrepresents the star-level of the resorts they market. Nowadays I arranged what I believed was a-3 star resort on Hotwire to get a one-night stay. Once the title of the resort was exposed, I had been surprised. Expedia, Hotels.com, and TripAdvisor all named it a 2.5 star resort. After I named their Customer Support, I had been informed that Orbitz.com named it a-3 star hotel, and so these were warranted in calling it a-3 star hotel.

Hotwire is held by Expedia and Hotels.com. However they don't take their star ratings of the parent organization as genuine and uniquely update the rankings.

I until today have been an extremely regular user of Hotwire. Never again!!!
