We'd realized that Ameriprise Financials (formerly American Express) had started getting a regular charge to the little brokerage account. After losing so much within the stock exchange, we were sick and tired of everything and chose to cash-out and shut the consideration. It's poor enough that Ameriprise billed $19 (plus another $4.50 - under various other pretext) for every 'purchase' deal. But what actually gets me is the fact that they charged $100.00 to shut the consideration! Because WHENEVER do businesses reach ask you for should you stay-open (and therefore are inactive) and ask you for for SHUTTING a merchant account? I'm robed.
Is there somebody we are able to protest to? Is that this not illegal? Am I taking a look at a possible class-action suit?
Btw. I'm likely to stop all my Amex cards aswell... That's the final $ they created from me:)
