2 years ago I get a form in the mail stating I was approved for a $7,500 credit card. When I received the package in the mail and found out that it was a catalog ordering only I called and cancelled the account and even written to the company.
When I didn't receive anything in the mail since then, I throw the info away. Just recently I got another invoice from them stating that the account is past due and that I owe them a few hundred dollars. I called them and the system says that they are open from 530am to 830pm pst monday thru friday. I was on hold for 2 hours. The next day I called the same number and someone actually answered the line.
They tell me that their hours are from 7am to 5pm pst. Then, when I informed the customer service about my complaint, she tells me that she can not do anything about it. She would be glad to close the account but I would have to still pay what is outstanding. I never ordered anything. Charging $150.00 for security guard, extender and protector and preferred membercard and the account is suppose to be closed is RIDICULOUS.
