Litton Loan Rip Off No intent to help anyone

Just like all of you on Rip Off, I also got screwed by Litton Loans. For almost two years and thousands of dollars they decided not to help us at all. Our loan got sold 5 times in 5 years till it got to Litton Loans. The last lender was already in the process of helping us and also had our insurance money for water damage to our master bathroom. After giving Avelo Mortgage 3800.00 and making monthly payment to catch up, they got bought out by Litton. Once Litton acquired the account they decided to take the money and cancel any attempt for mortgage mod. Their answer was We do not do mortgage mod and had to repay the balance before it was going to foreclosure. Not only they took the money and canceled any deals from the previous lender, they would not pay the contractor the money had from my insurance to finish our bathroom.

It took Litton 3 months to send us the check for the insurance and this time the contractor did not want to finish the job. I have two plastic bins full of paperwork that got sent and resent on numerous occasions via mail and fax, and in almost every instance they claimed they did not get it or they would say another rep was working on my case. So far I have spent over 12,000.00 trying to save my home and so far nothing. They do not care about your situation, all they want is to take your money and provide you false info and take your home.

Needless to say, they have won the battle. As of today my home has been auctioned and they still did not allow us to purse short sale of our property. They have forced us to get flood insurance in an area that has not seen a flood since Noahs Ark. The house was worth 195,000.00 when it was purchased in 2005 as of today it is not worth 100,000.00, and you would think they would try to help save as much and keep a tenant in the home.

I wish all of you good luck working with Litton but I would not hold my breath..
