Change rates on me, charge money for something that was not disclosed

I do not know even know where to begin with this company. Ignorance, bad customer service, incompetence, everything in one...

I started my own insurance brokerage about 9 month ago and to file for LLC i was using legalzoom.com. At that time i was searching for a merchant service for checks. So one of the recommendations that I have gotten from legalzoom.com was global payments. For some reason I thought it was reputable company since it was endorsed by legal zoom. The gentlemen by the name of Stanley Shields (phone # 443-416-5984) that was helping me was nice and helpful and send me a quote mailers for the check services, explained the rates and i asked him send me over the contract. I looked over the rates signed the contract and faxed it back to him. A month later I get a bill for check services and credit card services with totally different rates that the gentlemen had on the contract. I contacted Global Payments about the issue and they ask me to fax over the original contract. After viewing the contract one of the customer service reps told me that Stanley used white out to change the rate on the contract and he no longer works for the company. So management agreed to lower the rates but not the level I was offered originally. So I already had bad taste in my mouth.

Second

They messed up on my credit card transactions 2 times. Deposited about $2000 of my money that i have charged on the credit cards to the previous owner of the business. It took 3 months and hours on the phone to resolve this issues. Two of my customers got charged 2 times for the same amount.

Third

It is a pure scam, this is the only company that does it out of 16 that I have called.
When you use their check service they charge you a percentage not only on processed but declined transactions as well. At one time I had to run a check 5 times before it went through so Global Payments charged me not only transaction fee but percentage of the check as well. I called the customer service and spoke to Anthony 1800-364-5856 ext 420. He told me it was in the contract and I do not see it anywhere in the contract. I asked to speak to manager, he said she is not available. Her name is Marcia, she has not been available for 3 days now..

Actually now I am thinking about taking them to court..
