Said my dad had won super seven contest july 3. Said he won $85,000 and sent him a check from Legence Bank in Eldarado, Illinois, this is a legitimate bank that has nothing to do with this scam, in the amount of $4,885. This was the first check to pay fee's and taxes. He was instructed to go to walmart or any other western union office and send $2995 in a money gram to cover the fee's and taxes. His claim agent Tim Wilson would assist him.
I called legence bank, they are aware of the scam and i faxed a copy of the check and the letter to their office. They are working with police on tracking these people down.
