I have used this company in the past for small payday loans, and never had any problems with them till this last loan. I was unable to pay it back after the initial 3 extensions and called to ask about options. They would not accept partial payment whatsoever. Which was all I could do at the time. So I just didn't pay.
Over the next month I received calls from a company called CPD (Credit Protection Depot) leaving me many messages stating it was urgent that I call them back. I answered a few times and explained the situation and their response was the same, All or nothing payment. So I continued not to pay. Then I started to receive different types of phone calls from a new woman with a thick accent. Same woman over and over leaving messages stating the cops were coming to get me for this debt. (I know better than that) So I called the number back that they leave on the machine, because the initial calls are an unavailable number. And a man answered, I asked what this call was for, he stated MyCashNow loan. I told him that the woman that kept calling me was threatening me with the police which is not true and constitutes as harassment. He started talking but I couldn't understand him, and asked where this collection company was located, and he replied "India". Then he just started saying over and over "I love you." I hung up and he called right back from the unavailable number, I answered and he said "why you hang up, I love you." I just argued with him saying to stop harassing me and making threats, he then said he had 2 questions for me. So I actually like a moron listened to what they were. He said "will you marry me" and when I firmly stated "No" and said "what is wrong with you" he then said "well will you suck my d*ck". I hung up and he called repeatedly, and I didn't answer.
I tired calling Mycashnow to get the number to this Collection company and realized they are the same company by the music that plays when you are on hold. I called mycashnow and it sounded like the same guy that had just called me answered. I told them to stop calling me and I was writing a letter to the Attorney General..
I did. Nothing has happened yet. But telling someone to suck your d*ck and making empty threats is not how a business should be run. What a horrible experience.
