You are not really getting these homes financed by this company and you don't really own them. You think you do, but you don't. Companies like this are popping up everywhere they make you think you are getting a home loan but missourihomeowner.com aka AAC Property Management aka Missouri Property Trust (or whatever they want to call themselves these days) aren't financing your home. You are renting from them at a very high cost at which they will claim to give you a portion of those monthly payments back after 1 year as long as you are never late on a payment so you can turn around and give that money BACK to them for your "down payment" on the house which is what they call "refinancing" which is actually them referring you to their realitor's office who will then offer you a high interest loan to purchase the home.
Ask them if you REALLY own the home, the answer will be NO. They do not file any transactions with the county recorder of deeds, but they will send you letters "congratulating" you on the "purchase" of your new home and make false statements such as "Your Home Loan Has Been Approved" when in fact you are not a home owner with this company, you are merely renting from them.
Always be wary of a supposed "professional company" that actually gives you a discount if you open an account with a specific bank like this company does.
Remember: What this company offers is only half truths based on a potential while you are responsible for the extreme monthly payments, all repairs, the taxes etc. On a home you don't even own while you could be renting something at a reasonable price, repairing your own credit and then seeking a traditional mortgage with a reputable company.
Always research who you deal with business with. This company has complaints against them on various websites including usacomplaints.com and they are valid grievances against this company's bait tactics that target consumers with lower incomes and lower credit scores at a very high price.
