I recently tried to obtain a credit report from these companies using a visa/debit card. They both told me that they could not accept this as a method of payment and the transaction was canceled. However, a week or so after I had tried to get the reports, my bank account was charged at total of $59.95.
I disputed it with my bank after numerous attempts to get in touch with both companies. I sent an email stating that I would be persuing legal action if the money was not placed back into my account in 10 business days. I have no idea if they did so as my bank reimbursed me the $59.95.
That was in May, it is now June and I have another unwanted charge, now $79.95, for "Credit Monitoring Service" which I have never asked for. Please be aware that these companies will not provide you with the services you asked for and they will charge you for these services.
