I am an unemployed single mother of four children who was in need of her credit report. I can not afford to pay something so frivilous as a credit monitor.
I went to consumerinfo.com to get a free credit report as I need to know what is on my credit to file for bankruptcy because of being off work and not being able to keep the bills paid. When I got to the part where it said they wanted my credit card info I should have realized there was a problem.
When I got to the end and read about how much it would cost me to get anything from them I hit cancel. I thought that would be enough but then low and behold almost a month later they stole $79.95 out of my account and caused me to end up with $58.00 in overdraft fees on my bank account.
These people are really from a bad company. When I called to complain the person I talked to said she would credit my $79.95 in 7-10 days however they are not responsible for the $58.00 in overdraft fees so either way I end up paying for something I neither ordered or recieved.
