I won 50,000.00 and they sent me a check for 3,999.00 on a closed account to pay the taxes

I received a letter informing me that I was one of the winners in the "UK & NORTH AMERICA CONSUMER PROMOTION DRAW" for all customers of Wal-mart, Sears, Home depot, Safeway e t. C

My name was attached to an ENTRY SLIP with serial number 5674599 and drew lucky winning numbers 45-97-89-66

I am entitled to the sum of 50,000.00, payable by CERTIFIED CHECK, and will be delivered to me by courier company (FedEx or UPS) therefore I am advised to contact MY CLAIM AGENT

Because this DRAW was held in UNITED KINGDOM, they enclosed a check of 3,999.00 (on a inactive account) for payment of the non residents tax.

I should not act on this letter until I speak with my claims agent.

When I call Steve Brown, he told me to deposit the check into my account, and call him back for instruction on how to pay the tax.

When I asked Steve if the check was to cover the tax, he said yes. So I asked him why it was wrote on an inactive account he hung up on me.
