In November my business partner and I signed a commitment letter with Hunter Funding and its agent, Andy Perizek of HK & Associates, for a 1,000, 000 dollar credit line to rehab properties. We were told that all we needed to do is put $30k into an escrow account to secure the line of credit. This was our refundable deposit, the money was to remain in the escrow account, it didn't... We were told that the line of credit would fund within 90 days of the deposit. After the LOC didn't fund we were given many excuses as to why the line didn't fund. Mostly the third party investor or the holding company was creating the delay and that it should fund within two to three weeks.
We are coming up on a year and I spoke with John hunter and he said that the money was with the holding company it is gone.
Do not invest with this company, its agents or affiliates because it is a scam. I am preparing to sue all parties. If you have a similar situation please contact me. I'm contacting the authorities in hopes to get my money back and to have any illegal dealings handled accordingly.
