In August my business partner and I signed a contract with Hunter Funding Group. It details a $1,000, 000 line of credit that they were going to extendto us for 10yrs @ 10%. There was a $15,000 fully refundable application fee and they promised funding withing 2 months. They failed todeliver the LOC on schedule and said that it was being arranged with AIGand that it had fallen through when AIG went bankrupt. They convincedus that they had some alternatives that they would use to deliver theLOC within another 2 months. They then proceeded to make excuse after excuse. We began asking for our money back in February 09. They said they were sending it but nothing ever came. It has now been over 1 year and nothing has ever come through.
HFG is incorporated in Wyoming, and Arizona. Other people in the group are Keith Clark and Curt M. Condrat.
We were introduced to Hunter Funding Group by Pete Keiner of HK & Associates and Andy Perizek of American Mortgage Corporation. They are from the Twin Cities, MN. We gave the application fee to Pete and he was our contact person.
Now they have gone silent. I am now convinced they never had any intention of delivering and are complete frauds.
We wrote several PA's based on their approval letter and assurances and had to scramble to close on multiple properties without these funds. It put us in a severe financial bind.
