Citizens Bank Citizens Explanation of Their Posting

I document my numerous conversations and explanations I have received from Citizens regarding their method of posting. I'll try to make this simple, and explain.
I was informed:
1. When card is used that number is taken from your account immediately (you can see this online only by the available balance... It has been removed)
2 If this has not been presented within 24 hours from merchant it is put back in the available balance... You will also see this, not necessarily 24 hours but that is the most recent time frame I was given. I have also been informed 3 days and 5 days. Nevertheless, you will see that your available balance differs from a day to day basis.
3. While this amount is has been taken from your available balanace, it is also referred to as Pending by bank reps. The major confusion is that once it is place back in the balance, it is no longer 'pending'.
4. The bank then actually posts along with many other transactions, when your balance has become low enough to incur the charges.

PROBLEM Even when you have funds in the bank when this item is posted by the merchant, it will be backdated. Maintaining a registry or not, this is extremely confusing and unjust to the bank client.
Why is there no record of the withdraw from your balance? Obviously the fund were there... Not of this makes sense nor is it fair. Lets keep up the battle, we shall win. Did you see the Evening news last night regarding bank charges? Where do they feel we were appropriately informed? Please, I would like to know?
