More info on my site-
Early in 2006 My Mortgage Salesperson, while working at COUNTRYWIDE, had fraudulently applied for and received a 1st and 2nd mortgage on a property that I was under contract to buy!
I had placed $5000.00 as a security deposit and an additional $105,000.00 down payment.
His employer Countrywide Financial now B of A had underwritten and approved his loans without ANY merit.
He then had me sign an escrow amendment that ultimately allowed him to take title to MY property.
The Salesperson is now being prosecuted by the Department of Real Estate.
But two years and over $80,000.00 out of my pocket and B of A / Countrywide flat refuses a fair settlement and insists on going to trial. They are more interested in foreclosure than settling the matter.
Their attorney first denied the brokers employment, then after it was proven says they are not responsible for the actions their employees. They would rather go to court, waste money, and auction MY house for less than I am willing to pay!
