I was contacted by a Kate Jackson for Pacific Lending on an ad I placed on Craig's List for a 2 story home for sale. Kate emailed me, stating she had approved buyers in our area interested in buying a 2 story home. I called her phoned # but got no answer. Her mail box was full. I emailed her and received a call a (Duane Barnes) with an accent, offering leads to me within 72 hours. All I needed to do was send a copy of my bank check and $300.00 for 60 verified leads. Told me where to go to view their Website.
He assured me, that all was legit and they were members of the BBB. He told me the leads would cost me $19.00 each, that he was not in it for the money, but looking at a retirement income.
I told him it sounded great, but with all the scams going around, I wanted to check the company out and that I would be out of town the next week. He told me he could not hold the leads for me, when could he call me back for my decision after reading the proposal he would fax to me.
I have a copy of the (proposal) and request for the $300.00 and copy of my bank check. (Let me know if anyone would like a copy).
After hanging up... I Googled Pacific Lending then I went to consumer complaints and found PLENTY of information on this company and the same SCAM information that were in your reports. I also pulled up 1st Century and National mortgage, all the same companies.
I plan to fax all the reports I pulled up from RIPOFF RPORT to Duane and tell him to shove his scam up his a_ _.
Thanks,
You wised (Almost Convinced) up. GOOD JOB!
