CIC Credit Monitoring Consumerinfo.com Free Credit Report scam rip off charge bank account for free credit report 79.95 unauthorized steal promised without permission lie Nationwide Internet

This Messaage will explain the SCAM and tell you EXACTLY what to do to get ALL of your money back IMMEDIATELY!

I visited the site from an email offer I got from Excite. I usually trust them so when I saw the offer for a guaranteed 100% free credit report that also guaranteed you could view it INSTANTLY, I decided to check it out. I figured that with that blatant of a promise to be instant and without charge that they would never be brave enough to scam someone. I thought that if I was just cautious and read the entire page carefully I could make sure that I wasn't falling into a trap.

To make a long story short, I scrutinized every line of the pages with an eagle's eye. I never entered in my account information. I didn't even tell them the name of my bank. I know that I entered in the correct information, but when I submitted my form I was taken to a small message that did not even explain why I wasn't now viewing my credit report. It just said some generic nonsense about incorrect adresses and that I would be notified via email and postal mail with my credit report.

This alone made me furious. They had promised me an instant credit report and lied! I resolved to look into it further but I noticed there was no contact information clearly stated anywhere. Of course, it slipped my mind and I failed to go hold them accountable for my report... Which never came in the mail. The next month when a 79.95 charge appeared on my account I was confused. I didn't even realize it was them until I called my bank to find out what the charge was. When I was told who it was and looked them up I became so enraged. How is this possible? They shouldn't even have my check card number. Most importantly, I wanted to know who was going to hold them accountable for this CRIME they had committed.

Well, here is what you need to do. BE CAREFUL and stand your position firmly. I got my money back but I want to see them shut down or in prison for stealing the earnings of honest hard working americans.

* STEP 1: Do NOT contact consumerinfo.com first and do NOT go back to their website. The first call you should make is to your bank or credit card company. Report the charge as an unauthorized charge to your account. Your bank will start the inquiry process and should contact them for you to get your money back. Why do this? Because, consumerinfo.com is expecting your call and has an entire department set up just to hand out refunds, but they are trained to deceive you and will get you to agree to a partial refund or convince you that you can do nothing. Do not fall for this. You are in control and you have the upper hand.

* STEP 2: Your bank will send you a form in the mail. It is very simple to complete. It will show the charge and the company and all you have to do is select one of three choices about what is wrong with the charge and then sign it and mail it back to them. Make sure you check the box for UNAUTHORIZED CHARGE. This will formally start the inquiry and your bank will handle it all for you. This documents the situation and CIC will have to LEGALLY respond to your bank. This reports them to authorities as have possibly commited a CRIME of theft or fraud against you. WE MUST HOLD THEM RESPONSIBLE OR IT WILL NOT STOP.

* STEP 3: The bank will give you the 800 number for CIC. NOW, you can call them. You have support and you have information. This makes you a threat to them. They will try to ask you for your social security number. Refuse to give it. Tell them only your name. If they start trying to run the conversation CUT THEM OFF and tell them to listen, Then shortly inform them that they stole money from your account and that you never authorized it and that you KNOW they have done it to many people.inform them that you have ALREADY notified the authorities and your bank and that a LEGAL INQUIRY is already underway and WILL be persued no matter what. Then you tell them politely that you demand they reverse the charge and recredit your account for the 79.95 and also for any charges that may have occured as a result of NSF fees or bounced checks that they caused. Tell them that you are contacting them simply as a courtesy to give them an opportunity to show that they are willing to cooperate and rectify the situation... And that your bank will be contacting their legal department within 48 hours if they haven't already.

(You don't have to be rude or get nasty with them. But make sure that you are firm and unyeilding. Control the conversation and make them aware that this is not open for discussion and these are their only ooptions)

* STEP 4: They will probably agree to refund your account within 7 business days. Accept that, but don't stop there. You need to contact your bank after the charge is reversed and tell them that you want the matter persued and them to be held legally responsible. These people do this to MANY THOUSANDS of people. They expect to refund a majority of the charges, but they are making insane amounts of money just off the people who don't notice the charge on their statement or who don't think they have any reprocussion. It is our ethical responsibility to do what we can to stop this from happening from other innocent people. We need to not only inform members of our community of the danger, but also to proactively take a stand against the company legally so that they are shut down and hopefully even prosecuted for this.

I stress the fact that this will not cost you anymore money. If enough people simply contact their bank or credit card company and ask them to persue it legally, they will be asked to explain their actions in a court. This WILL end their streak of crimes against honest and unsuspecting Americans. As hokey and cheesy as it sounds, one voice does make a difference. You are not helpless and there is no need to feel like it is you against a big powerful company or that you don't know enough to follow through. All you have to know is that you are RIGHT and that what they are doing to people is WRONG. They know this, too.

Good luck and best wishes to everyone who was affected.

(NOTE: If I seem a little zealous in my feelings for this company and scam it's because I am. I am a southern boy and a mamma's boy. After they ripped me off, they did the same thing to my mother who makes a meager living, and is a SAINT in my eyes!:) I'm sure they are not scared of a 25 year old guy too much, but they apparently have never seen how we get when someone messes with our mommy! I'm out for blood now! HAHA. Good luck again!)
