Bogus claims of negligence to pay back internet loan thru cashnet usa, claiming that i will be picked up today or tomorrow if claim not settled on immediatly Edmond

Received phone call today from man with east indian accent claiming that I owed a debt to Cashnet USA in the amount of 350 dollars that had not been resolved.

When I disputed that claim he informed me that there was an affidavit that would be sent to them within the hour and they just needed to get my lawyer's fax information so that he could be made aware of situation and the affidavit shared with him.

After my frustration set in due to them being unable to give me any specific information about this claim as far as when and how the loan was dispersed, I asked the man that I could barely understand to connect me with someone with less of an accent.

After many clicks and beeps, a man with less of an accent but still an east indian one stated all of the same information the previous person had. He had my ss#, my banking info, and the names of the people I use for reference.

He stated that all three of us would be brought in to court the tomorrow and that if I did not take care of the debt now that I would not be paying back 750 dollars, instead it would be 5-6000 dollars.

I continued to deny any such loan being deposited into my account, only to have them continue to find any and everywhere outlet to keep me tied up on the phone and get further information like where I was currently employed.

I am sure that to the average person with no legal knowledge at all this would be very frightening as they have very personal information that may lead you to believe you should just pay them the money to stay out of jail or further debt. But thank goodness I know that you can NOT be prosecuted for failure to repay a debt accrued from a loan agency.

These people may be able to access other information of mine though or charge other things to my account. So i will be closing my current bank account. I am all in for any type of class action suit against these culprits though. These people are scum that are preying on unsuspected people that obviously have already been having some sort of hardship.

I really hope they are caught fast. Cashnet USA should definitely get involved in this if they have no involment because before i saw these other reports they were my #1 target for rebuttal.

This is craziness.
