Consumers beware! Sharpline Credit Solutions is looking to scam you out of your hard earned money by way of offering fake loans for business and personal use.
My husband and I were looking for a personal loan to pay off some unsecured debt and make some necessary home repairs. I was contacted by a man named Brian at Sharpline Credit Solutions. He informed me that we had been approved for a loan which was quite suspicious considering I had never given them any information on either of us.
I decided to do some research and found that the address that they claim to be their physical address is actually the address to the Fulton County Federal Credit Union in Gloversville, NY. I spoke with the Senior Vice President Carol Brown at FCFCU and she informed me that this company does not exist and that she had been contacted by several people that have been scammed by them.
They ask you to send up front payments to secure your loan via Western Union and once they have that money, you have lost it for good. Fulton County Federal Credit Union filed numerous complaints with IC3 and the BBB. As of today, Sharpline Credit Solutions website has been removed due to their frauding behaviors. They are already acting under another name as I recieved a call from them this morning and was told that I was speaking to Mike with AL Financial. Same number on the caller ID... interesting.
Please be cautious and know that any lender requiring money up front to secure a personal loan is a scam. This is not a legimitate lending practice. Always check Google Maps for the physical address of the person you are seeking to do business with and always check "whois lookup" to see who the website is registered to.
