My husband and I received a financing loan originally for some furniture, interest free. When we were ready to pay that off early, they talked us into getting some additional money to pay off bills, etc. Only this loan was at 26% interest. Then, when we were close to paying that off, we desperately needed a second vehicle. We both came from not-so-smart financial decisions in the past and were not able to get a regular loan through a local bank or lender because of our credit histories.
This company seemed to jump at the chance to loan us more money, and we agreed because we had nowhere else to turn. They have since tacked on to our loan something they called refinance "insurance" for refinancing our loan, and something called "credit insurance," which they SOLD to us as a very good idea to add to our loan. We have paid this company thousands of dollars, and on top of that a few thousand just for these "insurances." Now, after 5 years, we still have a balance of $10,000.
They will rip you off, especially those of you like us who are down on their luck. Beware!
