This evening my wife was contacted by a man named David at approximately 8pm David claimed to represent Premier Savings and began to ask my wife a series of questions concerning our debt that would determine if she would be qualified for a loan in that amount. To her surprise, he came back and said she was qualified for a loan i the full amount and that his supervisor would call her back and confirm everything with her in about 15 Min. My wife called me upstairs and explained to me what had happened and immediately I was concerned. I told her it sounded like a scam and that she needed to find more out about this company when they called back... If they called back. True to his word, Davids supervisor Barbra called back at 8:15 pm. I asked my wife if I could talk to her and I did she explained that the $439.00 was paid to them and initially told me that it would be applied to our credit card with the highest amount on it. A few min later, she told me that the $439.00 would go to her company because that was how they made their money for helping us find a bank to loan us the amount we needed. Both her and David were very fast talking. I handed the phone back to my wife and as she gave them our credit card number I use the web to search "Premier Savings" and thank god I did!!! I immediately told her to tell them we were not interested and hang up the phone. I then called my credit card and blocked it. The bottom line is that most legitimate companies do not call you late at night and ask you for all your personnel information (99% of the time this is a SCAM). Only give your information to companies you contact for service. Do not let them pressure you into action. Have them call back and do your home work between calls.
