I was approved for a loan by Hillside Financial (so I thought) for $5,000. Being laid off this was great! I could pay bills off and only have one payment! I understood my credit was not great so when they asked me for the first 4 payments ($900) for a secure loan I thought, "no problem" I would put it back in my savings once I got the loan. I sent it to them by Money Gram everything was ready to go. Money in my account by 5pm the next day! I got a call the next morning, they needed another 4 payments (another $900) to secure the loan. I told them I could not afford to send them any more money that is why I needed the loan! They promised me that this is all they needed and it will be ready to go. Of course I needed the loan BAD so I cleaned out all the money I had to send it to them thinking I would get the loan to pay my bills off. WRONG! Got another call the next day and Matt Stevens told me the lender backed out! I was so hurt and upset, already told the people I owed money to that the will be getting paid. I demanded my money back (as I was already promised I would get if I did not get the loan) and they told me I would get in but it would not be until July 9th. I am so behind on my bills right now I don't know what to do. All I want is my $1,800 back and put this mess behind me! I will NEVER do an online loan again. Just a RIPOFF!!! I hope this place gets what is coming to them!!!
