I went on a website and they supposedly will give you a loan but you have to pay upfront $. If the rep that was calling (David Winters) had told me about the $875.03 that I was supposed to pay upfront for a $7500 loan, I would have advised him that I didn't have that kind of money.
He called the next day and told me that I had been approved and I just needed to fax him over some info. Now my credit is not great by any means so I figure what do I have to lose. I fax over the info and then the next day he faxes over a 7 page contract and on the 1st page of it it says that I have to pay them 1st.
If I had $873.05 to give away, why would I need them??? I call him back and ask why he didn't mention it and he just asked if I wanted him to cancel the contract. (How rude?) He didn't even seem shocked. I advise yes and then the call ended.
I had high hopes of trying to start a business with that $ and he took that away from me. Now I have to try again. Just be careful because as they always say "If it sounds too good to be try, then it probably is".
