Beware of of another loan scam company calling itself Mainstream Financial. The person I spoke to was "Pamela Wagner". It is the usual routine of being told I was approved for a personal loan but because of my credit history, I needed to take out an insurance policy with an upfront cost of $623. When I informed Ms. Wagner that the interest didn't calculate correctly nor could I verify the company name or phone number. I also told her that I wouldn't pay any upfront money and that the "insurance premium" could come out from the loan proceeds. After this conversation, I've not heard from her again. I just wanted to post in case someone else is contacted by these scammers.
