I was contacted by a Victor Cook who said MABS was a great way to make money from home. I told him I was 72 and pretty much homebound but he said that didn't matter. I talked with him for a long time and asked a lot of questions that he answered satisfactority. Too bad I didn't realize that he would say anything but that only what he said on their "audio" recording counted, according to them.
Victor told me I could try their program for 30 days and if I wasn't happy with it they would give me refund of my $200. He said when I received my welcome package I would realize what a great deal this was. He didn't tell me they charge $19.95 for the package, which is only 2 small manuals and 3 sheets of contract papers to sign.
When the "welcome package" arrived I read that they only will give a refund AFTER one year and that is IF you can prove you have done extensive advertising and not made enough to pay back your investment.
I immediately called and talked to a Danny (woman) telling her I wanted to cancel and demanded they credit the $200 back to my Discover Card. She tried to sweet talk me into staying with them but I told her "no" that I realized now I'd been scammed and I wanted out.
When she didn't call back (as she said she would) I called and left messages. After several days another person called and told me that they had me agreeing on the audio and that I could not get my money back for one year.
I told him what Victor had said but he insisted that only what was on the audio counted. I told him I wanted to hear the audio and he said he would call me on Friday at 11 AM so I could hear it. I told him I had begun a dispute with my credit card but that didn't faze him. He said when they heard the audio they would side with MABS.
This "company" is nothing but a scam deal and I hope others will NOT enter into any agreements with them.
