When the president said he was going to let these banks do loan modifications for people he did not mention that if you have a deficit after they looked it over you are not approved. Well what the hell do they think we are applying for? We need help we got in trouble i used my credit cards for food and to pay bills. It is not that im looking to claim bankruptcy! I did that in 1998 and i kept my credit excellent. Now wells fargo directs me to cccs or bankruptcy and once i get rid of the debts come back to us we may be able to help you then. Then she told me do you want to live on your credit cards or do you want to stay in your house. Even getting rid of my credit cards do not help because citifinancial will have me in arbitration so i cannot include that my car loan is the biggest one i was flipped over and owe more on the car they got me good. So i started packing and i will loose what it took 13 years to get where i am after a divorce. I am 57 and have just had enough. I lost my home in new jersey and had to sell it because everything goes up but your wages, the woman told me they would do a quick sale for about 70.000 or a little higher, i owe 94.900? But they would not lower it for me. And the people with the money buy your house and rent it out. That is how the rich are making more money off of us. I would rather die than keep going thru this. All i did was cry when i got off the phone and walked around my home to see the blood, sweat, and hard work i put in here. I will not go bankrput again and have everyone charging me the higher interst rate and noone can get me out of this where i can make it. I don't even have food in my cubbards or fridge. Because i thought i was going to be helped. I have lost about 20lbs in a week my clothes are falling off me i am so ashamed when i go to work but i am clean. So forget this bull loan modification. The government should have given these loans directly, when the banks begged for money they should have got nothing let it all cave in. They don't care about us and we are the jerks paying for them to stay in business. Everyone needs to write to the white house and let the president know he gave the money to the wrong people. God forgive them
