We have a chronically ill daughter her health failed in november. I was forced to go on family leave and got laid off my job for almost four months. When i went back to work it was for half the pay i made. We asked for help they gave us two months off from our mortgage payment but refused to lower our interest rate that is all we are asking them to do. We hired a modification attorney to intervene for us they refused them. We have never been late on our house payment and have used all of our retirement savings to pay our mortgage. If congress bailed AIG out then why cannot they help us.
