I am a starving student who made the mistake of opening an account with Wells Fargo bank. I have noticed that their algorithm will actually rearrange charges in their system to maximize their late fees. I've also noticed that some of my transactions will intermittently appear and disappear so that I will be more likely to accidentally overdraw because their system is not accurate.
As an example, I accidentally overdrew because money for my tuition was withdrawn. It was my mistake, but instead of charging me once, they charged late fees for ALL "pending" transactions, resulting in $245 in late fees. It's no secret that their algorithm purposely rearranges the orders of the transactions.
