I submitted my short sale package at the end of febuary for review. I called back every 10 days for an update status. I was told that the package was with an underwriter. I called bac 05/04, to check the status and was told that i needed to counter back at 150k, so i did so and faxed the counter back that same day and followed up by mailing it as well. I called 10 days later and was told that the file was turned down because of no response. They said they emailed and called me to verify that the buyer can close in 30 days and to make sure that there wasn't a jr lien. I've never received a phone call nor an email from anyone at aurora, the only time that we made contact is when i called to check the staus of the file. So, i was told to call back on 05/25, to check the status, it's still turn down and waiting to be reassigned to another underwriter. The house is scheduled to go to sale on 06/09, and no one has attempted to call me or rectify this mistake that aurora has made. I checked my spam mail and asked for the phone number and email address of the person that contacted me, they refused to give it to me. I said, well if they said they attempted to contact me via email and phone and have not received a call back why can't i have the number and email. There response, was we just can't give out that information, you have to wait for them to contact you again. This is a game that aurura plays, i've been told by other realtors that have dealt with aurora that they are having the same problems. This is unfair to the listing agent (myself) who has worked my butt off, the selling agaent who has worked her butt of and tought that she had a deal but more importantly the seller who thought here home would be sold and the buyer who thought they were moving into this home. This is so unfair, to lie and say they left a message is just wrong and unethical. They need to be stopped!
