I am writing simply to say that National Financial Publications is nothing more than a ripoff.
Currently, I am un-employed student who was looking for a way to earn extra money while working from the comfort of my own home and also creating my own hours. It seemed like a good idea, so I called the add in the paper. When I spoke to the representitive, I was told that once I paid for my booklet that I would be guaranteed work. I was never told that I had to send an additional fee to get signed up with these companies.
The booklet I received was $49.95, it was a little paperback that had a listing of all the different companies in it. And in order for me to start receiving work, I had to send anywhere from $30 to $40 to receive their products. After I saw that, I was in shock because I was not told this information over the phone.
I then tried to call NFP to get my money back, but was unsuccessful. When I called the number, which was long distance by the way, I got an answering machine that told me to call back during regular business hours, which I did but still did not get through. I was ripped off. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. So now I'm stuck with this booklet, out of $50 and no way of getting my money back.
In order for me to get my money back, I had to get in writing from these companies that no work was available and send it to NFP. I thought that was a bunch of crap. I would never in a million years, recommend this company to anyone.
