"VISA Fraud Protection/Prevention Services" asked for my bank card number over the phone

They called and left a VM for me to call them back in regard to my account end ing in * with my bank name. When I called back i got an automated response that asked for my 16 digit bank card number. I spoke to a "customer service representative" that transferred me to her "supervisor" who would only say that my bank was a client of theirs and they work on their behalf. BTW - the guy who left me the message said it was "VISA Fraud PROTECTION Services" and the "supervisor" who said his name was "Lee" and refused to tell me his last name "for security reasons" [his "employee number" is 11862] said it was "VISA Fraud PREVENTION Services". I guess they are confused. Here is the info I was given:
