Case No. 07-CA-9799 was filed in the Circuit Court of the 9th Judicial Circuit in and for Orange County, Florida, the final judgment against the KMA Capital Partners, Inc. Sale of one of many field offices affiliated with "a network of Company owned professional businesses known as KMA Capital Partners, Inc." The purchase price of the field office was $250,000 with a Non-recourse note of $250,000 at closing. The business broker involved was Ferrari Sunbelt Business Advisors who provided the many listings for the company and eas actively involved in every aspect of the sale. Within the first three months of business operations my office generated eleven clients three from KMA Capital Partners, Inc. And eight that I generated on my own. At the end of the fourth month KMA Capital Partners, Inc. Rejected all but the three clients that they originally provided me yet depite my disapointment I rebuilt that client base to the original eleven. Subsequently, at the end of the seventh month KMA Capital Partners, Inc's management forced me into a buy-out situation, making an offer $205,391.90 which they then refused to honor. This situation dragged out for two and a half years to the final judgment award of $257,133.56 at which point KMA Capital Partners, Inc. Then disappeared allowing the State of Florida to subsequently dissolve the company. Management's claim for not repaying me any monies to date was that "they have no money, " a position they have taken for many years, in similar situations.
Their solution to the non-payment was to set up a Trust with the company's penny stocks and from which they claim that they will supposedly repay the debt. I am one of eight field offices sold and the company has since produced records to show that "they have no money."
I entered that business transaction with the desire to have my own business and as a small business owner to provide employment for others and, I personally financed it from savings of twenty years since I was unable to secure a loan elsewhere.
To date, I have not generated any revenue from that business opportunity (Lake Mary ofice franchise sale,) the company has closed the office and I am out by at least $250,000 while the individuals who have scammed me and others are living comfortably with hundreds of thousands of our monies.
